Websites for plumbers

Websites for plumbers that bring in the calls.

People looking for a plumber are usually on their phone, sometimes with water where it shouldn't be. Your site has to show your number, where you work and your licence within a few seconds. We build it, host it and keep it running from $149 a month, and you see a working demo before you pay anything.

Stackly Plumbing

Want a plumbing-only specialist?

This page covers how we build websites for plumbers as part of Stackly Digital, alongside the other trades we work with. We also run Stackly Plumbing, a dedicated service built only for plumbers, with features made for the trade: your licence details on every page, an emergency call button up top, and pages for the services and suburbs you want work from. Same team, same plans and prices. Pick whichever suits you.

A recent build

Here's what a recent trade site looks like.

This is the site we built for Scrub Exterior Cleaning, a pressure washing and window cleaning business on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Clear on desktop, easy to use on a phone, and set up so customers send their details before Max even picks up the phone.

"Since switching to Stackly Digital, leads through the site have jumped."

Google
"Before Stackly Digital, my leads all came through Facebook, chasing people up and posting to local pages. I'd tried building my own site before but never published it, it looked too rough. Since the new site went live, I've had a noticeably higher number of clients calling, emailing and using the quote form, and it only took Stackly about a day to build once I sent through my logo and services. Looking back, I should have jumped on it earlier. It's given me a proper professional front for going after commercial clients, and it's one of the best decisions I've made."

Client testimonial
"Since Stackly Digital built our website, things have changed a lot for Alert Gutter Cleaning. We still post in the same Facebook groups, but the response has picked up noticeably since adding our link. We're now getting 4 quote requests a week through the site. I'd recommend Stackly Digital to any trade still running on word of mouth alone."

Google
"My DIY website never met expectations and cost me a client who found it too confusing. Since switching to Stackly Digital, leads through the site have jumped, and the quote form saves heaps of time: clients fill in details upfront, so I just call, confirm the price, and book the job. A professional website is pivotal for a service-based business, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stackly Digital."

108,200 plumbers, one phone call

About 108,200 people work as plumbers in Australia, roughly one for every 258 people. That's around 78 plumbers for every 20,000 residents, and close to a third of them work in NSW.*

When a hot water system dies or a drain backs up, the customer doesn't compare 78 plumbers. They search, look at the first few results and ring whoever looks most trustworthy and closest. The top three Google results take just over half of all clicks, and almost nobody scrolls to page two.* Your site's job is to be one of those three and to win the call when it is.

Where the work is heading

Plumbing is growing by about 5,300 workers a year.* In August 2026, 16,953 dwellings were approved nationally, up 10.3% on a year earlier, and approvals for new houses were up 18.4%.* Every one of those needs rough-in, fit-off and drainage.

The bigger pipeline is the Housing Accord's 1.2 million new homes. About 308,000 had been built by March 2026, so most of that work is still ahead.* Then there's the existing housing stock, where most service calls come from: blocked drains, burst pipes, leaking taps and hot water systems at the end of their life.

What customers check before they call

  • Your licence number. NSW requires it in all advertising for plumbing, drainage and gas fitting work, websites included. We put it on every page.
  • Whether you'll come now. If you do emergency work, say so at the top, with an after-hours number.
  • Your call-out fee, or at least how you price. People ring the plumber who explains it plainly.
  • That you cover their suburb.
  • Reviews from people with the same problem. "Fixed our hot water the same day" sells better than five stars on their own.

The pages a plumber's site needs

  1. 1.Home, with an emergency number up top
  2. 2.Blocked drains
  3. 3.Hot water: repairs and replacement, gas, electric and heat pump
  4. 4.Leaks and burst pipes
  5. 5.Gas fitting, if you're licensed for it
  6. 6.Bathroom and kitchen plumbing, renovations and new builds
  7. 7.Service areas (Growth and above)
  8. 8.About, licence and insurance, and a contact and quote form

* Correct at the time of writing (October 2026).
