A recent build

Here's what a recent trade site looks like.

This is the site we built for Scrub Exterior Cleaning, a pressure washing and window cleaning business on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Clear on desktop, easy to use on a phone, and set up so customers send their details before Max even picks up the phone.

"Since switching to Stackly Digital, leads through the site have jumped."

Google
"Before Stackly Digital, my leads all came through Facebook, chasing people up and posting to local pages. I'd tried building my own site before but never published it, it looked too rough. Since the new site went live, I've had a noticeably higher number of clients calling, emailing and using the quote form, and it only took Stackly about a day to build once I sent through my logo and services. Looking back, I should have jumped on it earlier. It's given me a proper professional front for going after commercial clients, and it's one of the best decisions I've made."

Client testimonial
"Since Stackly Digital built our website, things have changed a lot for Alert Gutter Cleaning. We still post in the same Facebook groups, but the response has picked up noticeably since adding our link. We're now getting 4 quote requests a week through the site. I'd recommend Stackly Digital to any trade still running on word of mouth alone."

Google
"My DIY website never met expectations and cost me a client who found it too confusing. Since switching to Stackly Digital, leads through the site have jumped, and the quote form saves heaps of time: clients fill in details upfront, so I just call, confirm the price, and book the job. A professional website is pivotal for a service-based business, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stackly Digital."

You're one of 193,200 sparkies

About 193,200 people work as electricians in Australia, roughly one for every 145 people.* There are around 45,850 electrical businesses, or one for every 610 or so residents. In a suburb of 20,000 people, that's about 33 businesses chasing the same switchboard upgrades and fault calls.*

Most of those customers start on Google. The top three results take just over half of all clicks, and fewer than 1 in 100 searchers click through to page two.* If your site doesn't show up near the top, or looks worse than the one above it, the call goes to someone else.

Where the work is heading

The trade is growing by about 7,100 workers a year.* More than 507,000 home batteries have gone in under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program since it started in July 2025.* Add rooftop solar, EV chargers and old switchboards that can't handle any of it, and there's a steady stream of homeowners searching for an electrician who does that specific job.

Those searches are specific: "home battery installer Penrith", not "electrician". A site with a page for each service you do gives Google something to match them to.

What customers check before they call

  • Your licence number. In NSW it has to appear in all advertising, including your website, with your name or registered business name. We put it in the footer of every page.
  • Whether you do their job. A battery customer wants to see batteries, not a generic list.
  • That you're local. Your service suburbs, named plainly.
  • Reviews and photos. Real jobs, real switchboards, real names.
  • How fast you answer. Tap-to-call on a phone, and a form for people who'd rather not ring.

The pages an electrician's site needs

  1. 1.Home, with your number and licence above the fold
  2. 2.One page per main service: switchboard upgrades, safety switches, solar and batteries, EV chargers, fault-finding, data and TV
  3. 3.Emergency and after-hours, if you do it
  4. 4.Service areas, one per suburb cluster you want work from (included on Growth and above)
  5. 5.About, with your licence, insurance and a photo of you
  6. 6.Contact and quote form

* Correct at the time of writing (October 2026).
